Comprising some of the most experienced musicians and entertainers in South Australia, Warp Factor is a new music entertainment venture conceived by The Preacher, Denis Surmon, who is the bass player in groups such as The Grouse, pan!c, Double Wammy, Blues Avenue, Walking The LIne - Australia's Number One Johnny Cash Show, Honky Tonk Angels - the Loretta Lynne Story, and The Sidecutters. By assembling members of these groups in configurations that match a client's needs, Surmon can stage a band will be high on entertainment value and packing a mighty vocal and musical punch. Warp Factor can be configured as a two piece - Warp Factor 2 - either as acoustic or rocking along with rhythm tracks, three-, four-, five or even six-piece, in each case adding a musician or entertainer to achieve the best possible outcome for the event . Warp Factor 5 members are: Michael Hill, on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Michael has fronted pop covers groups pan!c and The Grouse; Denis Surmon – Double Wammy, The Grouse and the Fat Elvises – plays bass and supplies back up and occasional lead vocals. Vocalist Diane Dixon - recently with Fringe sensation Botox Babes – has sung with Billy Thorpe, Darryl Braithwaite, Russell Morris, Jim Keyes, Ross Wilson, and Suzie Quatro and had led the charge in many Adelaide bands. James Sweet Baby Meston is one of the leading lights in the Blues and RnB scene with his outstanding guitar playing and powerful vocals while Rob Boundy, who has occupied the drum stool for major acts such as The Modes and Tour Of Duty, shines as a dynamic performer and backup vocalist.
