What’s not to like about a Rant and Rave?

In certain pockets of this glorious multilingual world ‘rant and rave’ is sort of homophonic with ‘Dad and Dave’ which is Cockney rhyming slang for shave.

Which has nothing to do with this rant except that when The Nuts have a rant and rave, they mean it — with emphasis on the rant!

Such is ‘These are the Days Of Our Lives’, the second track to be featured from our ‘Millionaires Mix’ physical CD.

‘These are the Days Of Our Lives’ draws unashamedly on early classics such as ‘Compared To What’, ‘What’s Going’ On’ and  some Doomsday ranting. ‘These are the Days Of Our Lives’ points of finger of blame and shame at some of the evils and evil-doers of the world.

As if you really needed that!

However from The Nuts point of view it’s a cathartic exercise to whine loudly about the pus and stench of greed, money and power, corruption, racism and apathy.

I hope that hasn’t made you cry but some of that shit makes me a bit teary.

Anyway it’s a sort of R&B, Soul-y song and features some nice guitar work from the inimitable Mr Rhodes along with The Nuts rhythm section cranking like a Morris Minor with a dry oil pan.

Only joking. It kicks along.
