Unlike little Johnny Howard and mirthless Maggie Thatcher ding, dong the witch is dead, The Nuts have a great respect for the working person, man woman or beast. Or both.
Mildly irritated by noticing, through the entertainment media, that the idea of love and romance seems to mean more to the upper classes, the wealthy, the privileged and the beautiful, The Nuts set out to redress that idea by inferring that the plain old working classes also deserve a “bit of the ol’…” you know what.
Not that the working person is plain and not beautiful. No! Well, I admit that a few, like us, are beautiful or very nice-looking, but some, quite honesty look like a box of frogs with toads thrown in. But… heads like kicked cabbages or not, they all deserve love and that’s what The Nuts – The Love of the Working Man is all about.
