Now in its 3rd year as a great music venue, the Magill Club kicks off its 2026 season with a funking fantastic spectacular: the Quicksonix and the Nuts.
Saturday January 17, the noise starts 7:30-ish with the swampy funk of Th’ Quicksonix. Dance till your pants fall down.
Then it’s the nuts turn to rattle the walls with all the favourites: Putin’s Blues, The Ill-fated Return, The love of a working Man (The Angle Grinder Blues), The Age of Idiocracy (the song that drove some people nuts!), The riverside rock show and many more the names of which I can’t remember.
Money will be required to gain access to this very special show but it won’t be a lot ($15). Just remember there’s no such thing as a free lunch unless you’re a politician and we’re paying for it!
Mark that date — Saturday January 17 — to get off your date, get on down to the Club and have a rockin’ good time.
