1:00 AM – Some Decades Later.

Patience is a — well, if not a virtue, it can turn up surprises. Released in 1982, ‘Allan Mackey 1:00 AM’ (with The Pocket Rockets) is now big in France, instigating album digitising and re-release.
Possibly discovered under piles of other people’s “back catalogues” in lockdown France, the album comprises original material by Allan Mackey, now a much-travelled country artist in Queensland.
While ‘Allan Mackey 1:00 AM’ attracted mild interest in its home country — garnering some gigs, a high-profile support and a few mini tours with the assistance of Kombi Brothers sound crew — there is apparently now a *legion of fans in France calling for more copies.
That can be achieved.
A tour may be out of the question.
* (legion – any number above two)
NB: If memory serves me the personnel comprised: Allan Mackey, Colin Wilson, Laurie Keating, Mark Dozzi, Gerard Dozzi (arrangements), Bruce Smith? (not sure about him being there), Peter Dozzi ( truly, I am unsure of who played keyboards), Denis Surmon and another bass player who’s name I can’t recall. There were backup singers but once again, cobwebs and dust back there.
