Three Brothers ‘in arms’

Three brothers Arms pub in Macclesfield is a noteworthy destination for anybody who likes great music, good food and excellent beers.

John Jagt has been running the pub for some years now and, as a musician/songwriter, is sympathetic to other musicians who ply their original material and swing on the Indi side of commercial.

So, this week there are two shows that are of interest to Blue Ring Records.  Number 1 is on Thursday January 26. This will be   a special extended concert in honour of local entrepreneurial legend and outstanding rock photographer Samara Teague.

The concert features a staggering lineup of local artists and bands who are giving their time and energy for Samra who is going through a bit of a purple patch at the moment.

Number 2.  Friday January 27, The Nuts return to the Three Brothers Arms for another groundbreaking, arse-kicking, finger waggling performance. Yes, sometimes they do things that can make a few people waggle their fingers at them. The Nuts generate music in many different genres and fly under the banner of ‘The Song Is King’.

The Nuts write and play songs.  With a stellar lineup of musicians and writers The Nuts perform a variety of music from blues through pop, Rock, funk, amusing (possibly), social comment (possibly one-sided), and some pretty clever guitar instrumentals.

Always surprising, always something new.

Buy tickets — to both events.

You’ll be supporting a bit more than local music and a mighty venue.
